About Me

I was born, and still live on Chicago's north side, about a mile north of Wrigley Field. In my years here, the city has awarded me nearly endless opportunity for cultural, social, and educational advancement.

During my teenaged years, I attended Lane Tech High school, and worked part time in sales, and construction respectively. In addition, I became increasingly involved in the arts, and music. This eventually led to the development of a number of creative skills for me; website design, music and audio production, and a general affinity for the use of technical skill for creative projects. Since then, I've been independently providing these services to independent artists, and small businesses from all around Chicago. From there, I decided to to study business administration and marketing in college.

After high-school, I became employed as a cabinet builder with the company I currently work for, and began attending business classes at Northeastern Illinois University. However, with an increase in responsibility at work, and a lack of night classes available at NEIU, I chose to complete my degree online with Kaplan University. Currently, I am working days as a manufacturing designer and cabinet maker, and freelancing as a website designer and media developer by night. In addition, I am currently completing my Bachelors degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing, and will be graduating in February of 2010.

With the skills I've developed in school, along with the five years of freelance web design experience, I look forward to moving out of the manufacturing industry, and into the fields of commercial web design, and marketing; two fields which I find to be highly cohesive in today's age of internet marketing. In addition, I plan to seek a graduate degree, likely in marketing. This however will depend on the path my career takes in the following months.
